The Irish Freshwater Sciences Association held its 2026 Annual Meeting on 13th March 2026 at Dublin City University’s St. Patrick’s Campus, bringing together researchers, agencies and industry partners for a full day of presentations and discussion.
The programme featured full talks, short talks, and two‑minute elevator pitches, with a student prize awarded for the best pitch. Attendees, which included our very own Dr. Priya Pollard of Indigo Rock Marine Research Centre, shared new findings across freshwater biology, ecology, hydrology and water management, continuing IFSA’s reputation as a friendly and collaborative forum for Irish freshwater science.
